“Bir Küçük Gün Işığı” (English title: “A Little Sunshine”) is a Turkish drama series that first aired in 2016. The show was directed by Sadullah Celen and written by Pınar Bulut. It was produced by Gold Film and broadcast on the Turkish TV channel Show TV.

The series follows the story of a young girl named Zeynep, played by Alina Boz, who is forced to flee her home with her mother, Şahika, played by Hande Doğandemir, due to domestic violence. They end up in a small seaside town where they try to start a new life and overcome the difficulties they face.

Zeynep meets Ali, played by Tolga Sarıtaş, a young man who owns a small boat and makes a living by fishing. Ali helps Zeynep and her mother and the three of them become close friends. However, their happiness is short-lived as Şahika’s abusive husband, Cahit, played by Kaan Urgancıoğlu, tracks them down and tries to take Zeynep away from her mother.

The series explores themes such as domestic violence, love, and family. It was well received by Turkish audiences and became one of the most popular shows of 2016. It ran for a total of 40 episodes, with the final episode airing on June 5, 2017.
